Our story: who we are, what we do, and why we do it

Overview

Go Vocal is a certified B Corp empowering public servants to cultivate a true culture of engagement with our comprehensive engagement platform and strategic guidance. We help amplify the voices of community members, streamline the engagement process, and unlock deeper insights for more informed decision-making.

Mission

It’s our mission to build stronger democracies by making public decision-making more inclusive, participatory, and responsive. We do this by enabling local governments and organizations to engage their communities with one centralized tool, making project management more efficient and improving input analysis and decision-making.

Today’s local democracies face two main issues: difficulty reaching community members and a lack of trust. Although 55% of people say they would like to be involved in local decision-making, 83% say there is a lack of transparency preventing them from doing so. Traditional engagement methods, such as town halls or paper consultations, are costly, time-consuming, and not representative of our changing communities. That’s where Go Vocal comes in - to help governments co-create communities of the future alongside their residents.
